This song was written following the death of George Floyd. It captures the myriad of emotions during the chaotic time of hate, fear, racism, and violence. It gives a voice to the victims whose lives were stolen from them. It commemorates and honors their lives, and sheds light on the sad truth of systematic racism, police brutality, and injustice. It was written to give people the courage to stand up and fight for equality.
